Since Jenny is always kicking down the fresh def beats, I figured it was high time I offered up something in return.

So here are two songs by two ladies whom I am very attached to musically. I’m sure everyone knows KT Tunstall at this point and knows this song. However, I’m pretty sure 99.9% of you have never heard of Butterfly Boucher (pronounced “BOW-chur”) and that’s a damn shame, as she rocks like nobody has rocked before. Unlike KT, who has been picked up by VH1 and carried around like a trophy, Butterfly has kinda slipped through on indie-type radio stations. She’s probably a lot more known in her native Australia… At any rate, she’s uberchick.

Both artists play all their own instruments, although Butterfly only does so in the studio. KT uses an 8-track in her live shows and uses looping to create the full-band experience. They’re both absolutely awesome to watch perform.
