Send In the Coffee

Finally caving in to the more recent pop culture fad, I arrived home from work yesterday to find my Amazon.com order waiting for me on the doorstep. The first two books of the Twilight Saga. 550+ pages each.

I’ve already finished them. And ordered the remaining two (hardbound…bleh).

I got exactly one hour of sleep when I accidentally closed my eyes at 3:30am and I finally heard my alarm going off at 4:30am.

Yes. These books are that fucking good. Do yourself a favor and get them. Soon. They’re ridiculously cheap. ($6 paperback, $10-12 hardbound, even cheaper for used) I highly recommend, though, if you don’t already know anything about the upcoming Twilight movie, wait until you’ve at least read the first book completely before visiting IMDb. You’ll want to form your own mental images of the characters without the actors getting in the way. Trust me on this one.

Now I’m going to spend the rest of the day taking coffee intravenously and fidgeting a lot until my second Amazon order arrives. I will be positively irritating for the next 24 hours. Sweet.
